Christmas is here. Jesus came and this is why we celebrate. In a world with no hope Jesus incarnates to become hope. We rejoice that our God does not leave us in our sin helpless against it. Our God comes from heaven to save us. Here is a definition of the word incarnation…
Incarnation: the doctrine that the eternal second Person of the Trinity became a human being and assumed flesh in Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus Christ was the “Word made flesh” (Jn 1:14) The doctrine holds that Jesus was one divine person with both a divine and a human nature.
